Presented by the Exposure Photography Festival, Online Artist Talks provides insights into the works and practices of exhibiting photographers featured in the 8th edition of the Photoville FENCE.
The FENCE was displayed during the February 2020 Exposure Festival in downtown Calgary, Alberta.
The FENCE is a large-scale traveling photography exhibition reaching more than six million visitors annually, through open-air exhibitions the 8th edition was showcased in eight cities across North America. This outdoor exhibition creates a truly public platform, presenting powerful photographic narratives to a diverse and expansive audience.
Alongside The FENCE exhibition, Exposure presented the Western Canadian Regional Edition, open to submissions from photographers residing in Alberta, Saskatchewan, British Columbia, Northwest Territories and Yukon.
